Yesterday I wrote way too many words to describe the Spinx Runfest Half Marathon, Flight of the Vampire 5K weekend experience. Today I’ll overcompensate with way too many pictures. Sound good?

I was trying to decide what to wear, and in the end, I was happiest with this costume, worn out in Athens one evening:
We decided I was Rainbow Brite gone rebel.
Have to show off the orange hair ...
... because of the rain I chose to forego the orange hair. Bummer, since the rain stopped for the 5K. Josh is wearing a Bandilier bike Jersey, Jess is wearing a shirt that glows in the dark, and Chris is Waldo. He even ran in jeans (and beat us all!)
We celebrated with big beers, big margaritas and lots of food.
Jeff was nice enough to "stick out" everyone as we all moaned about our aches and pains later at the mountain cabin.
Great weekend! I will be reliving it over and over in my head for quite a while … (I won’t make this post any longer by talking about the fun hike we had the next day, but that happened too. And be sure to check out what Kevin wore in his 5K on Halloween. Great costume, Kev!)
