Spent the night at my grandmother’s the night before Christmas, so I put on the pants I had packed to go over there. I knew they were too big when I was wearing them and I spent the day pulling them up. But wow, I didn’t realize how horrible they looked until I saw the pictures …

It’s always a good problem to need new pants because they’re too big! I am in the same boat as you with that, especially with some of my workout pants. What’s not a good problem to have to go shopping, which is not a fun activity for me. I got some Nordstrom gift cards for Christmas… will let you know when I’m making the pilgrimage to Southpark.
It’ll have to be before Feb. because I need new pants to wear for student teaching!

Honestly I have the same problem, and being short to boot means I have to search far and wide for clothes that fit well. But it’s worth it when you bring home the hardware

I had the exact same problem. The day before Thanksgiving, my wife told me I looked like “A 32 year old man trying to look like a suburban hip-hop wannabe thug” because the butt of my jeans were near my hamstrings. She forced me out the day after Thanksgiving to go buy clothes that actually fit.
It’s been a little more than a month, and I’ve already lost another pants size. I’m looking very forward to seeing what it looks like when I create my own event horizon.
