It's obvious you were born to be a writer, and that you're more in tune with being yourself than just fitting in with the status quo.
Isn't it weird to look back on this stuff as an adult and see how bizarre the people in charge of shaping our lives really were?

It's funny...the teachers that I remember most, and that had the biggest inpact on me, were the ones that forced me to show myself. Whether in my writing, or on stage, or even just to them directly...they made me do the one thing I hated most, and I'm better for it.

Now, I've never been published (outside of my grade-school newsletter or that one submission to Penthouse Forum), but if I ever were to have a byline, I'd have Mrs. Zimmerman, Mr. Greeley, and Drs. Seal and Gold to thank afterward.

Jenny, you've described her hair perfectly. I don't know what happened to her other than she retired several years ago, so you are probably right!

Don't hold me to it, but I'm pretty sure Mrs. M. was the legal secretary when I closed on my house about six years ago. She had the crazy, straight-part-down-the-middle hair, right?

I never realized it was like that! I never had her but loved Mrs. Morgan. I'm thinking I need to post about that odd picture I found of us!

On the contrary, I think you learned a lot about writing in that semester with Mrs. Murdock.
