Yeah... leash laws need to be obeyed, period. It's our job and the guardians to keep our dogs safe, and to prevent altercations and accidents.

Way to run, though! I wish I had your commitment to stuff like that. (and better knees)

First, that run is awesome! I had a goal to beat you on Saturday, but now I am not so sure! I just hope Jenny doesn't make us look too bad.

Second, the dog thing pisses me off too! It is simply ridiculous when people can't take care of their dogs. Not to validate it, but the only time my dogs are ever off their leash and out of the fence is when my escape artist german shepherd decides that life is boring in the fence and squeezes herself (all 65 pounds) through a hole the size of your fist! She leaves a good bit of hair behind and probably goes on a 10.5 mile run!

See you Saturday!

This INFURIATES me!!!! I have two dogs, one is 15 pounds and the other is 4 pounds! We only walk the bigger dog because the smaller one pretty much flips me off when I get the leash out for her. What if this happened to us??? We could have picked up our dog but then would the dogs have attacked us instead??? This is ridiculous!!!!! If your precious dog has to be free of his leash, get an electric fence or move to the country!!!!!! Why should we have to even remotely worry about this in a neighborhood??? One of those dogs is going to attack a child! Will that be enough for these people to finally buy a leash!?!? UGHHHH!!!!
I am a dog LOVER but I also know to respect their power and keep them constrained. I wish others would do the same!!!
(stepping off of my soap box now) :P

Your runs seem like more endurance events than long distance runs. Carry nine items, control large dog, fight off warring attackers -- my runs seem downright boring right about now.

BTW 10.5 miles is awesome! Sign up for the half now!
